Performance Agreement
The conditions on this page are the basic requirements for an entertainment engagement that runs smoothly at your event. They are subject to change and can be altered through request in writing in the discussions leading up to your event.
a) Technical
Technical/Stage requirements to be provided unless agreed otherwise include:
i)
- 2 x Fold back Speakers on stage (eg. 600 Watt 10 Inch Speaker)
- Crowd Speakers (eg. 1000 Watt 15 Inch Speaker)
- Wireless Hand Held Microphone
- iPad input through all speakers. 3.5mm Direct Input.
- Cocktail Event: 12-16 Chairs on stage. 6m x 3m Stage is minimum stage size
requirement.
- Seated Dinner or Theatre Event: 4-8 Chairs on stage. 4m x 2.5m is minimum
stage size requirement
- Access to stage from audience
- Lighting to ensure the stage is visible at all times
- Small table for props/iPad accessible & visible to stage
- Water for Artist
ii) The Client shall provide a suitable performance area for the Act and ensure there is an adequate power supply.
iii) If the venue provided by The Client is unable to accommodate the Acts and the Act is unable to perform for this reason The Client will be liable for cancellation charges as outlined in section E of this Agreement.
Please note: In built roof speakers in 99% of venues do not suffice as performance grade sound equipment.
b) Scheduling
Time the show to avoid clashing with food or other distractions for the audience. Eg. Just after Entrée, prior to Mains or after Mains have finished etc.
c) Language
A Hypnosis show is primarily an auditory word based show. Volunteers on stage will need to be reasonably fluent in English without auditory impairments.
d) Payments
A $1,000.00 deposit is required upon booking. All deposits are non-refundable and in conjunction with this Agreement are a requirement to secure your booking.
Balance of performance is to be paid at least 7 days prior to the performance date with payment details provided on Invoice.
e) Cancellations
In the event that The Client cancels an Engagement they will be liable to pay cancellation charges as follows:
i) Cancellation over 60 days prior to the Event Date: Reschedule of Event to later available date.
ii) Cancellation made 30-59 days prior to the Event Date: 50% of Total Invoice
iii) Cancellation made less than 29 days prior to the Event Date: 100% of Total Invoice
iv) In the event that any Act is unable to complete a performance due to a delay in the start of the performance schedule, where such delay is no fault of the Act, the Client shall remain liable to pay the full Fee due.
v) An Act is not obligated to finish any performance that has started late due to the Clients actions or to extend the length of any performance.
f) Changes
Should there be any changes to the Performance time, location, or anything else that may affect the Artist, the Artist is to be informed as soon as possible in writing.
g) Travel
Travel is to be arranged at earliest opportunity and includes:
• Flights (Virgin Velocity Number: 7480012240)
• Accommodation
• Transfers/Car Hire
h) Refunds
If the Artist is delayed or unable to appear and a change of date or substitution cannot be agreed upon then this agreement will be cancelled with no further obligation by either party. In this case, any prepaid fee amount will be returned to the Client.
i) Merchandise
If the event permits merchandise can be made available to interested audience members at the end of the show including DVDs of the show, Hypnotherapy USB’s. The Artist will provide everything required but will need a small table for display.
j) Crowd Expectations
The Client agrees that if any Act is threatened, abused verbally or physically by anyone present at the performance then the Act will be entitled not to perform, without penalty. All Fees will remain payable by The Client.
k) Governance
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South Australian courts.
